DIY clay bells. Easy project

School holidays are happening! So I thought that I might share a craft that kids of all ages (& parents too!) can do. It's pretty cheap, very easy & you will be happy to show it off in your home. It is also the very first time that I have done a video tutorial. One that does not feature my head! Thanks to Miss Gracie dog who bumped the camera!! So you will just have to imagine that my head is there. You will even see Miss Gracie make an appearance! And please tell me, does anyone else say completely random things while recording themselves??? Apparently I do! OK, so now onto the project!!

Yesterday, while I was working out on the airofit (think Kath & Kel from Kath & Kim) , I came across an A-Z of me list that a friend of mine had posted. I thought I would share my answers here on the blog. So here is a here & now edition of A-Z of me. (as of 10:06 am yesterday morning)

B- Biggest Fear: Cockroaches & not being in control are equal fears in my life.

Hello school holidays!! 

After a stress filled term, we are ALL breathing a sigh of relief that the alarm clock didn't go off at 6 am this morning. We all slept in till after 8 am! Oh it was glorious to wake up in my own time. And to look out the window to see that it was raining & know that I can stay in my PJ's all day.........so comforting!

If we all lived like a 4 year old who doesn't care what anyone thinks, oh how happy we would all be! My daughter used to dress as a fairy with gumboots every single day for about 6 months & she was awesome! She even wore that outfit to my Grandmothers funeral. It made everyone smile. Every person who ever stopped & commented only said positive things. Like "She is rocking that fairy outfit" or "That kid has got style" or "I love that she doesn't care what anyone thinks". She was happy. I was happy that she was happy. Can't we all be just as happy & confidant as a 4 year old in a fairy outfit & tutu??

If you want to wear mixed prints, do it.

3 things that are really freaking awesome!

Today I am joining in with Carly who writes the awesome blog Smaggle (that could possibly make 4 really freaking awesome things then). She has revived a blog post series where you share 3 really freaking awesome things from the month. 3? I have a habit of using awesome to describe at least 10 things a day so it may be hard to cut it back to just 3. But here goes........

Down in the veggie patch. My secret weapon to growing the best veggies ever.

Down in the veggie patch, things are really booming! I have a secret weapon that I will tell you about. But first let me show you what has been growing. Potatoes! I have grown my first lot of kipfler potatoes! They are only tiny but I don't care! I grew them! I got so excited that I may have picked them a week or 2 too early. There is still some more buried under the soil.

Yesterday I somehow managed to lose hours, full complete hours! I was pinning like a crazy woman. I was pinning tattoo ideas.  The sewing ones are completely awesome!!! My poor husband had his phone going nuts as I was sending him links & asking what he thought for my next design.
