When the veggie patch gives you an abundance of basil, pick it, put it in a food processor with some toasted pine nuts, Parmesan cheese and a good amount of olive oil then blitz until pesto is made!! Simple!
Spoon it into a jar & you have fresh homemade pesto. Easy!!
Tonight for dinner, I am going to use this pesto with some pasta & pan fried chorizo to make my husband fall in love with me all over again!
